The analysis about direct smear microscopy results of tuberculosis patients in Pinggu District in 2008-2009

Abstract
Objective:To analyze registered cases of tuberculosis in 2008 and 2009 in Pinggu District,to provide a reference smear quality assurance.Methods: China TB Control Programme Sputum smear microscopy quality assurance manual sputum smear microscopy method.Results: The detection rate of smear in 2008 is 58%,while in 2009 is 46.7%.TB patients Higher in males than females;aged over 60 years age up to 64.2% detection rate;different types of cheese samples in the sputum smear positive rate of 64.8% up;different time remaining sputum positive rate of sputum in the morning sputum up to 77.7%.Conclusion: TB control program in strict accordance with China,sputum smear microscopy quality assurance manual for sputum inspection work to continuously improve the level of sputum examination,detection and treatment of tuberculosis patients is the basic guarantee.
