Abstract
Objective To analyze the sputum smear situation of the registered cases of tuberculosis in Nanchong in 2010,provide reference to ensure the quality of sputum examination.Methods Sputum smear test was conducted according to Sputum Smear Mcroscopy and Quality Assurance Standard Handbook from China Tuberculosis Research Programme.Results There were 6 439 newly diagnosed tuberculosis patients in Nanchong in 2010,in which 2 382 were positive,the smear-positive detection rate was 37%,the highest detection rate of cheese sputum in different kinds of sputum specimens was 62.9%,and the highest detection rate of morning sputum in different kinds of time left was 35.6%.Conclusion The detection rates varies in different kinds and different time of lefting samle.It is necessary to guide patients left sputum sample correctly to improve the detection rate of tuberculosis.
