Abstract
[Objective]To understand the status of sputum smear in town clinics,provide scientific basis for reference of sputum smear in the future.[Methods]Analysis of the status of smear sputum examination in 42 check-point of town clinics and the supervision on smear sputum carried out from 2005 to 2007 was conducted.[Results]Of the 42 check-point,23 of them were operated well.Smear sputum examination was conducted for 1 770 suspected TB patients from 2005 to 2007.5 006 sputum smears were tested,110 of them were positive,49 of them were smear positive patients.The detection rate was 2.77%.[Conclusion]Grass-root check-point played a small role in sputum smear examination for the detection of TB patients.
