Abstract
[Objective]To establish a feasible and reproducible liver-kidney yin deficiency syndrome animal model in hyperlipidemic rat.[Methods]24 SD rats were randomly divided into model group and control group.12 rats in the model group were fed with high fat diet and long-term irritated, mimicking the etiology of hyperlipidemia and TCM liver-kidney yin deficiency syndrome,to generate a liver-kidney yin deficiency syndrome model of hyperlipidemia.[Results]Rats of model group were with obvious emaciation, less activity, piloerection, less smooth, decreased appetite, back arched, and gathering.Biochemical test showed that TC,TG and LDL-C were significantly higher.cAMP content in plasma was significantly higher. The ratio of E2 and E2/T were significantly higher.[Conclusions]High fat diet combined with long-term irritation can reflect the mimic rat liver-kidney yin deficiency model of hyperlipidemia in terms of symptoms and laboratory parameters. This method conforms to clinical practice and can be used as a TCM liver-kidney yin deficiency model of hyperlipidemia.
