The Features of Immunological Liver Injury in Mice with Yin Deficiency Syndrome and the Intervention Effects of Yiguanjian

Abstract
Objective: To detect the yin deficiency symptoms of immunological liver injury in mice, and to observe the effects of traditional Chinese medicine on characterization of yin deficiency syndromes. Method: The 80 male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal group, model group, western medicine group and Yiguanjian group,20 mice in each. Except the normal group, liver injury model induced by Concanavalin A was established. While modeling,mice in Yiguanjian group were given Yiguanjian [0.4 m L/20(g·d)], Western medicine group received Bifendate [0.2 g/(kg·d), and the normal group and model group were fed with same volume of saline daily. After 8 weeks, the serum ALT and AST were tested; the HE staining were used to evaluate the degree of liver inflammation(G) and fibrosis(S); body weight, tongue humidity, temperature of tongue, tongue and liver microcirculation blood flow velocity, food and drinking, stool and urine were all detected. Results:(1)Yiguanjian had good effect in improving liver function, reduce inflammation, anti liver fibrosis( P 0.05).(2)The mice of immunological liver injury had symptoms of Yin deficiency syndrome, and Yiguanjian can improve the symptoms of yin deficiency syndrome(P 0.05). Conclusions: The mice of immunological liver injury had the characteristics of Yin deficiency syndrome, and Yiguanjian can not only improve the liver injury in mice, but also could improve the symptoms of yin deficiency syndrome.
