Abstract
Tripterygium wilfordii was taken as material cultured in vitro to induce the plant regeneration. The experiments were conducted in order to select the appropriate explants for tissue culture and the method of optimal sterilization of explants. The results show that the best explant was disease-free green leaves;and the best way of sterilization is: firstly, the explants are immersed in alcohol(70 %) for 30 seconds, and then are sterilized in NaClO(10 %) for 15 minutes). The lowest pollution rate was 21.08 %,and the highest survive rate was 65.66 %.
