Study of Effect and Mechanism of Ganxinning Extract on HA LN PCIII and C-IV of Hepatic Fibrosis

Objective:To study the effect and mechanism of the Chinese compound prescription Ganxinning(GXN,a kind of extract of Chinese Traditional herbs,with the functions of resolve blood stasis and nurish Yin,Clear away heat and dampness)extract on experimental hepatic fibrosis.Methods:The models of hepatic fibrosis were produced in Sprague-Dawlay rats by CCl4 compound factors and were treated with GXN.Colchicin(COL)and Daihuangzhechong pill(DHZCP)were used as control at the same time.The variations of the indexes of hepatis fibrosis including liver index、spleen index、hyaluronic acid(HA),laminin(LN),collagen type IV(C-IV)and precollagen typeⅢ(PCⅢ)as well as the variations of the pathomorphology of liver were observed.Results:GXN could restore the pathological proliferation of livers and spleen of rats to some extent.The serum level of HA,LN,C-IV and PCⅢ were decreased significantly.Conclusion:GXN had obvious inhibitory effect on hepatic fibrosis.
