Practice and effects of implementation of "High-quality Care Demonstration Project"

Objective The implementation of the High-quality Care Demonstration Project was taken as an opportunity to promote nursing care in all aspects.Methods Six pilot wards were chosen to carry out the project.The measures included changing the original nursing model,distributing different jobs for nurses with different professional titles,competition for the post of group leaders,adjusting the original performance allocation program,improving the clinical support system,enhancing basic nursing,timely conclusion and reviewing for constant improvement.Results The degrees of satisfaction of both patients and nurses to the basic nursing and the quality of ward management were significantly improved(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion Carrying out the High-quality Care Demonstration Project has positive effects to the improvement of the quality of nursing care.
