Plasma Adiponectin Level in Normal Subjects and Its Affecting Factors

Objective:To study the correlation between plasma adiponectin and total cholesterol(TC).triglyceride(TG).LDL-C,HDL-C,blood pressure(BP).BMI.insulin resistance index(IRI).waist circumference,blood insulin,fasting blood glucose,and blood urinic acid(UA)in normal subjects.Methods:Seventy health adult were envolled in this study,they were divided into mengroup(n=37);women group(n=33),fasting plasma adiponectin was assayed by radiommunoassay.Result:The adiponectin level in men group(12.95±4.36)μg/ml were significantly lower than that in women group(17.46±4.52)μg/ml(P0.05).Multiple linear related analysis showed singificantly negatively correlations between plasma adiponectin and waist circumference,SBP,TG,HOMA-IR(P0.05)and positively correlation between plasma adiponectin and HDL-C levels(P0.05).Conclusions:Plasma adiponectin level in different sex was different,Plasma adiponectin was related to BP,total TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,insulin resistance and obesity.
