Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy of risperidone combining with paroxetine in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Methods A total of 53 outpatients who met the criteria of CCMD-3 for obsessive-compulsive disorder were assigned to therapeutic group and control group for 12 weeks. Therapeutic group were given risperidone combining with paroxetine, and control group given paroxetine only. The clinical effect was assessed with Y-BOCS at the end of 2~ nd ,4~ th ,8~ th and 12~ th .ResultsAfter treatment, the marked improvement rate and effective rate in therapeutic group were higher than those in control group. There were significant differences in the reduction rates of Y-BOCS total scores between two groups at the end of 2~ nd ,4~ th ,8~ th and 12~ th .ConclusionParoxetine combining with risperidone has better effect in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder than panoetine only.Low dose risperidone is dn effective potentiation in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
