Abstract

Objective: To explore the effect of fluvxamine plus quetiapine in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Methods:A total of 50 outpatients who met the criteria of CCMD-3 for obsessive-compulsive disorder were assigned to therapeutic group(n=25) and control group(n=25) for the treatment of 12 weeks.Therapeutic group was given fluvxamine plus quetiapine and control group was fluoxetine alone. The clinical effect was assessed with HAMA and Y-BOCS at the end of 4th,8 th and 12th week. Results: after treatment of 4th,8 th and 12th week, the marked improvement rate and effective rate in therapeutic group were higher than that in control group. Conclusions: Fluvxamine plus quetiapine has better effect in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder than fluoxetine only.
