Clinical Evaluation of Levofloxacin Combined with Ceftriaxone Sodium in the Treatment of 30 Patients with Community-acquired Pneumonia

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of ceftriaxone sodium combined with levofloxacin in treatment of community-acquired pneumonia(CAP).Methods 60 patients with CAP were randomly and equally divided into treatment group(ceftriaxone sodium combined with levofloxacin)and control group(single use of ceftriaxone sodium).30 patients in the treatment group received intravenous drip of ceftriaxone sodium(2 g,twice a day)and levofloxacin injection(300 mg,once a day);while the control group were only given ceftriaxone sodium intravenously(2 g,twice a day)for 10 days.Results The effective rate in the treatment group was 93.33%,significantly higher than that of control group with 73.33%(P0.05).Conclusion Ceftriaxone sodium combined with levofloxacin can significantly increase the efficiency of CAP,and improve the prognosis with good safety.
