Abstract
The title emulsion was prepared by copolymerization of siloxane and acrylate monomers. The influence of the content of siloxane monomers,ratio of emulsifiers and the temperture of reaction on emulsion were discussed. The film was tested. The results show that there exists copolymerization between silicone and acrylatemonomers. The emulsion can be used as the binder of high performance exterior coatings.
