Study on Public Participation System in Land Use Planning

The purpose of this study is to bring forward the necessity of building up the system of public participation in land use planning based on the in depth analysis of current situation and existed problems in China. Methods of documentation and causality were employed. The results show that, it is important to clarify the concept and raise the social awareness of public participation, furthermore, emphasis the commonalty s participation,and adopt various methods so as to complete public participation system in land use planning.
