Abstract
Objective To survey the antibiotic resistance and the prevalence of PPNG and TRNG in Guangzhou Method Minimum inhibitory concentrations(MIC)to penicillin G,tetracycline,ciprofloxacin,ceftriaxone and spectiomycin were determined using the agar dilution method,and β-lactamase by paper iodin quantitative method.Results 30 strains of Neisseria gonorrhoeae produced β-lactamase.while 36 showed plasmid-mediated,high-level resistance to tetracycline(TRNG).Resistant rates of ciprofloxacin was as much as 93.1%.There was no resistance to ceftriaxone and specitinomycin.The ceftriaxone and specitnomycin activity is stronger.Conclusion The study showed that it is important to successively survey the antibiotic resistance of Neisseriae gonorrhoeae.
