Observation on therapeutic effect of astragulas injection combined with acanthopanax senticosus injection for acute viral myocarditis

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical curative effects of astragulas injection combined with acanthopanax senticosus injection for acute viral myocarditis (AVM),and to investigate its mechanism.Methods:One hundred and thirtyone cases with AVM were randomly divided into 2 groups.Sixtyeight cases in treatment group was treated with astragulas injection combined with acanthopanax senticosus injection infused intravenously .Sixtythree cases in control group was treated with facilitating myocardial cells′ metabolic drug and glucoseinsulinpotassium(GIK) infused intravenously.Results:The recovery rate and total effective rate in treatment group (58 06% and 93 55%) were higher than those in control group(29 41% and 68 63%, P 0 05 and P 0 01).The efficacy of treatment group was obviously improved than that of control group in relieving the clinical symptoms ( P 0 01),ameliorating the myocardial enzyme ( P 0 05),recovering electrocardiogram STT changs ( P 0 01),various block ( P 0 01)and sinus arrythmia( P 0 05) etc.The curative effects on improving the heart function showed no significant between the 2 groups ( P 0 05).No sideeffects were observed.Conclusions:It′s safe and effective to treat AVM with astragulas injection combined with acanthopanax senticosus injection.
