Abstract
Butyl butyrate was synthesized with butyric acid and butyl alcohol as raw materils and using p-toluene sulphonic acid supported on active carbon as catalyet. The inflencing factors were studied and the optimum conditions of synthesis were determined: molar ratio of alcohol to acid is 1∶1.3,amount of catalyst is 2.5%,reaction time is 70 min,the yield of esterification is up to 97.8%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
