Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish a method for determination of the content of matrine in Shenju lotion. METHODS: The content of matrine in Shenju lotion was determined by HPLLC using Dionex C18column( 4. 6 mm × 250. 0 mm,5 μm) with the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-water-triethylamine( 65 ∶ 35 ∶ 0. 2) at flow rate of 1 ml / min,detective wavelength of 220 nm and the column temperature of 30 ℃. RESULTS: The linear range of matrine was 39. 64-35 6. 76 μg / ml( r = 0. 999 9,n = 6). The average recovery was 99. 26% and the relative standard deviations was 0. 87%( n = 9). CONCLUSION: The established method is simple,accurate,reliable and specific and it can be used for routine analysis and quality control of matrine in Shenju lotion.
