Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between serum levels of C reactive protein(CRP), soluble interleukin-6(IL-6), soluble vascular cell adhesion molecular 1(sICAM-1) in the courses of coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods Serum level of CRP as determined by immunoturbidimetric analyzer Beckman LX-20; serum levels of IL-6, sICAM-1 were measured by ELISA. Results The serum levels of CRP, IL-6 and sICAM-1 of the CHD patients were significantly higher than those of non-CHD individuals(P0.01). The levels of CRP, IL-6 and sICAM-1 of the different grade CHD groups revealed different significance. Conclusions The serum levels of CRP, IL-6 and sICAM-1 are important indexes for the diagnosis of CHD and the courses of CHD.
