Abstract
In this experiment,Pleurotus ostreatus strain PL-39 was used as original strain and a new strain PL-3903 suitable for liquid culture was selected by means of UV continuously induced mutation, isolation, purification and dome stication, and through the measure of growth rate of slanthyhae and polysaccharides quantity of fermentation. The result showed that PL-3903 had a relatively genetic stability and can grow fast and well in the medium with enriched PDA.Its mycelia were dense and white, and its vitality in liquid medium was strong. The biomass was up to 2.49?g/100?ml and total polysaccharides quantity was up to 3.38?g/100?ml.
