The clinical efficacy and safety of emergency intravenous amiodarone in the treatment of tachyarrhythmia

Objective To explore the emergency intravenous amiodarone in the treatment of tachyarrhythmia clinical efficacy and safety. Methods Tachyarrhythmias treated in our hospital in October 2010-2012 in October of 50 patients, intravenous amiodarone therapy. Recorded after treatment the patients markedly, the number of valid and invalid cases, as well as the emergence of a number of cases of adverse reactions, and then calculate the efficiency and the occurrence of adverse. Results After treatment, 40 cases were effective, 8 cases, 2 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate was 96%, three cases of adverse reactions, respectively, for the two cases of phlebitis and sinus bradycardia. Conclusion Tachyarrhythmias patients, intravenous amiodarone treatment, the effective rate, the low incidence of adverse reactions, it is worth in clinical practice.
