Abstract

OBJECTIVE To determine the content of germacrone and curdione in Radix Curcumae by HPLC.METHODS C18 kromasil was the chromatographic column, the mobile phase was acetonitrile and water(75:25)with a flow rate of 0.8 ml·min-1,the detection wavelength was set at 244 nm.RESULTS The recovery of germacrone and curdione was 95%-105%.RSD was 1.34%,1.87%(n=5)respectively.CONCLUSION The method is simple and reliable and it can be used for the content determination and the quality control of Radix Curcumae.
