Abstract

To accquire the accurate diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) early, we performed tests of antinuclear antibody(ANA), antibody of extractable nuclear antigen(ENA) and antibody of double strand DNA (anti-dsDNA) in the serum on 89 patients with clinical diagnosis of SLE. The results are as follows:32.58% tested positive for anti-Sm antibody;87% tested positive for ANA;73% tested positive for anti dsDNA. The study suggested that the tests of ANA、ENA and anti-dsDNA should be performed simultane ously to avoid missing out the diagnosis of atypical or early stage SLE.
