Abstract

Objective To study the risk factors and the clinical features of recurrent cerebral infarction. Method Retrospective study the clinical data of recurrent cerebral infarction(58cases) and the same of the patients with the first attack of cerebral infarction(53cases). Results The rate of myocardial damage was significantly increased (p0.01) in the recurrent cerebral infaction. The women or a person with atrial fibrillation, diabetes, obesity, family history of hypertension and the stroke are significantly higher incidence in the second-onset group than the first-onset group (P0.05-0.01); The value of blood TC, TG, BS, fibrinogen, whole blood viscosity (high shear), whole blood reconvery viscosiy (high shear) and plasma viscosity in the second-onset group was significantly higher than that in the first-onset group (P0.05~ P0.01) and the value of HDL-C in the second-onset group was lower than that in the first-onset group (P0. 05). The mortality between first-onset group and second-onset group is significant differences .Conclu- sions At the early time of treatment to recurrent cerebral infarction, we should pay a attention to the prevention of myocardial injury. The major controllable risk factors to recurrent cerebral infarction are hypertension, the increased value of blood fibrinogen, TC, plasma and whole blood viscosity and decreased HDL-C. Hypertension is a common risk factors to all patients with cerebral infaction.
