Observation of clinical efficacy of type 2 diabetes patient treat by oral hypoglycemic agents combined with insulin glargine

OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of oral hypoglycemic agents combined with insulin glargine to type 2 diabetes patient.METHODS 78 outpatients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into treatment group and control group 39 cases,including oral hypoglycemic drug combination treatment group,insulin glargine treatment,the control group were given conventional oral hypoglycemic medication,observe and compare the two groups of glycemic control and hypoglycemia and so on.RESULTS After 2 weeks after treatment,FPG,2hPG and HbA1C level decreased significantly compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05),and the treatment group than in the control group decreased significantly.Two groups were treated for 4 weeks,8 weeks,both groups of patients with FPG,2hPG and HbA1C levels were reached.Hypoglycemia and the number of patients in treatment group was significantly lower than the control group,and the cost of treatment than the control group,blood glucose when their time is less than the control group,statistical analysis,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).CONCLUSION The combined oral hypoglycemic agents insulin glargine in type 2 diabetic patient is effective,can control blood sugar levels,reduce the incidence of hypoglycemia,less the cost of treatment,blood glucose time soon,should be popularized and applied.
