Effects of Cognitive Behavior Intervention on Psychological Health Level in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of cognitive behavior intervention on the psychological health level of patients with chronic hepatitis B patients.Methods From January to December 2009,122 patients with chronic hepatitis B in our hospital were randomly divided into control group(n=60) treated with the routine nursing and trial group(n=62) treated with the cognitive behavioral intervention based on the routine nursing.The effects of cognitive behavior intervention,of the two groups were compared using the mental health index and knowledge level scale of chronic hepatitis B.Results The psychological health and knowledge level was low in patients with chronic hepatitis B.The psychological health level was significantly improved after cognitive behavior intervention.Conclusion Cognitive behavior intervention can effectively improve the psychological health level in patients with chronic hepatitis B.
