Abstract

Objective To study the application effect of cognitive behavioral intervention in psychological nursing for patients with chronic hepatitis. Methods A total of 80 cases of hospitalized patients with chronic hepatitis were selected, and were randomly assigned to the control group and the experimental group. 40 patients in the control group were given routine nursing methods, while 40 cases in the experimental group were given cognitive behavioral intervention based on the routine nursing care. Psychological states of patients in two group were evaluated by self rating anxiety scale(SAS) and self rating depression scale(SDS) after 4 weeks′ intervention, and then intervention effect was compared. Results The SDS score and SAS score were (55.87±7.99), (57.28±6.87) in the control group and (48.87±5.49), (41.01±7.74) in the experimental group, and the data in experimental group was significantly lower than the control group (t=-4.56, -9.94; P<0.01). Conclusions Cognitive behavioral intervention can effectively relieve the anxiety and depression of patients with chronic hepatitis, and it is a good intervention method. Key words: Hepatitis, chronic; Psychological care; Cognitive behavior intervention
