Abstract
Objective:To establish the method for the determination of content of paeoniflorin in Radix Paeoniae by HPLC.Methods:The separation was carried out on VP-ODS C18 column(250 mm × 4.6 mm);the mobile phase was H2O(acidified to 0.1% with phosphoric acid)-acetonitrile(80 ∶ 20,V/V);the flow-rate was 1.0mL/min;it was detected at 230nm wavelength;the column temperature was room temperature.Results:The amount of paeoniflorin and its peak area showed a good linearity in the range of 0.0280 mg/mL~0.14160 mg/mL,the average recovery was 98.3%.Conclusion: The determination of Content of Paeoniflorin in Radix Paeoniae by HPLC is simple,accurate,selective and can be used to the determination of content of paeoniflorin in Radix Paeoniae.
