Abstract

Objective To compare the quality of different Radix Raeoniae Alba with HPLC methods. Methods The separation was carried out on Hypersil C18 column(4.6 mm×200 mm,5μm);the mobile phase was acetonitrile-H2O(acidified to 0.05% with phosphoric acid)(14∶86);the flow-rate was 1.0mml/min;the column temperature was 25℃.Results There was the highest content of paeoniflorin in Radix Paeoniae Alba of two-year-growing time harvested in October with short storage time. Conclusion The method is simple, rapid with good reproducibility.
