Abstract
Aim To establish an HPLC method for determining paeoniflorin in compound Radix paeoniae alba capsules.Method The HPLC separation was performed on ZORBAX-C 18 (4.6mm×250mm,5μm) column with a mixture acetonitrile -0.1% phosphoric acid solution (15∶85) as the mobile phase,at a flow rate of 1.2ml/min.Result Paeoniflorin showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.183~1.098μg.The regression equation was C=7.671×10 -5A-0.003 25,r=0.999 7,and the average recovery was 100.35% while RSD was 1.4%.Conclusion The method is convenient,repeatable,accurate,specific and can be used for determination of paeoniflorin in compound Radix paeoniae alba capsules.
