Abstract

The development of the theory of the rhyme of Chinese ancient poetry has gone through five stages: the Wei,Jin and South-north Dynasties are the breeding stage,the Tang Dynasty is the establishing stage,the Song Dynasty is the developing stage,the Ming Dynasty is the deepening stage,and the Qing Dynasty is the perfecting stage.Its characteristics are mainly embodied in three aspects: the expanding of names,the multiplicity of connotations,and the development of interpretations.
