Abstract

The development of Chinese ancient poetry criticism on orthodox school and variation go through five stages: the fore-Tang Dynasty is the producing stage, the Tang and Song Dynasty is the expanding stage, the Yuan Dynasty is the changing stage, the Ming Dynasty is the flourishing stage and the Qing Dynasty is the deepening stage; its characteristics mainly embody in three aspects: original, subjectivism and direction.
