Effect of Tiaozhi Huoluo prescription on hyperlipidemia

Abstract

Objective To investigate the Effect of Tiaozhi Huoluo prescription on hyperlipidemia.Methods 72 patients with hyperlipidemia were randomly divided into two groups.37 patients in control group were treated by inositol nicotinate.35 cases in treatment group were treated by Tiaozhi Huoluo prescription.The course was four weeks in two groups.The levels of TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C before and after treatment were measured in two groups.Results The total effective rate in treatment group(91.43%) was superior to that in control group(81.08%,P0.01).The levels of TC and TG after treatment were significantly decreased as compared with those before treatment in two groups(P0.05).The level of HDL-C was increased(P0.05).The level of TG in treatment group was lower than that in control group after treatment(P0.01).LDL-C was obviously decreased after treatment in treatment group(P0.05).Conclusion Tiaozhi Huoluo prescription has better Lipid Metabolism in patients with hyperlipidemia and definite effect.
