Abstract
Among the several Yi people's epic poems, King Alujuri is the most popular, richest in the cultural connotation, which is named King Zhigalu in Guizhou and King Zhigealu in Sichuan.Thus there are three different local editions, which have nearly same framework and basic content but some slightly different specific content, lengths and artistic characteristics.In King Alujuri there are higher artistic achievements and its thoughts are involved with all aspects of ancient Yi people's society, especially with all aspects of ancient Yi people's philosophical thoughts, religious beliefs,cultural art, marriage systems, whose research values and recognization significance cannot be replaced.
