Abstract
“Meige” is the most representative primitive epic of Yi People in Chuxiong Prefecture, which developing with Yi People. “Meige” survive on the particular cultural ecology system which includes many ancient cultural elements. It integrated in perfect harmony with primitive religious beliefs, sacrificial rites, folk custom, cultural mentality, value conception and festivals or celebrations.
