Abstract

Objective:To explore the effective therapy for chronic hepatitis B and anti hepatic fibrosis. Methods:One hundred and eight patients with chronic hepatitis B in the treatment group were treated with Prostaglandin E 1 and ninety patients in the control group received the treatment of Dimmoniun Glycyrrhiziate (DG). The changes of serum type Ⅲ precollagen (PCⅢ), laminin (LN), hyaluronic acid (HA), type IV collagen (Ⅳ C) and parameters of liver function before and after the treatment were observed. Results:The levels of serum PCⅢ, LN, HA, Ⅳ C, alanine transaminase, aspartase transaminase and total bilirubin were decreased significantly in the treatment group as compared with those in the control group and those before the treatment (P 0.01) . Conclusion:Prostaglandin E 1 could improve liver function and have anti hepatic fibrosis effect.
