Abstract

Objective To study the effect of pantoprazole combined with amoxicillin and levofloxacin on treatment of helicobacter pylory positive peptic ulcer. Methods 80 patients with peptic ulcer were randomly divided into observation group(40 cases) and control group(40 cases). The observation group was treated with 40mg pantoprazole daily before breakfast, and amoxicillin 1.0g and levofloxacin 0.2g twice a day.The control group was treated with omeprazole 20mg,amoxicillin 1.0g and metronidazole 0.4g twice a day.The treatment course was 2 weeks.4 weeks after treatment, the patients were reexamined with endoscopy. Results The rates of effectiveness of observation group and control group were 85% and 65%,and the eradication rates of HP were 90% and 67.5%,respectively,which were significantly different from each other. Conclusion It is effective for eradicating helicobacter pylory and curing peptic ulcer with pantoprazole combined with amoxicillin and levofloxacin.
