Abstract
Objective Investigate the clinical effi cacy of propafenone and verapamil in treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. Methods In this paper, using propafenone and verapamil to treat paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia patients, and comparing their clinical effi cacy. Results The effective rate and the total effective rate of propafenone group were signifi cantly higher than that of verapamil group (P0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in propafenone group was signifi cantly lower than that of verapamil group (P0.05). Conclusion Propafenone had good clinical effi cacy and little adverse reactions that were both better than verapamil. So, propafenone can be used as the fi rst choice drug in the treatment of PSVT in clinical.
