Abstract
Objective To evaluate the sensibitity and value in screening cervical cancer by ThinPrep cytology test(TCT). Methods 2255 samples were detected by TCT according to TBS diagnosis system, then, the positive persons were proceed the examination of cervical biopsy under guidance of colposcope. According to the principle of differ one grade, the coincidence of TCT results was analysed statistically compared with the pathological diagnosis as the standard. Results Of 2255 cases, 10 cases were cervical cancer (including 3 cases of carcinoma in situ and 1 of adenocarcinoma), with 30 cases of HSIL, 68 cases of LSIL, 128 cases of ASCUS, 7 cases of AGS. Among the cancer, HSIL and LSIL, the coincidences were 100%, 90% and 75% compared with pathological resuts, respectively. Concludsion ThinPrep cytology showed significantly increased sensitivity and accuracy for detecting cervical cancer and intraepithelial neoplasia.
