Clinical Research of Blood-house Stasis-dispelling Decoction Combined with Western Medicine on Cerebral Arterial Thrombosis,A Report of 40 Cases

Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Blood-house Stasis-dispelling Decoction on cerebral arterial thrombosis.Method: 80 cases suffered from cerebral arterial thrombosis were randomly divided into two groups.40 cases in treatment group were treated by Blood-house Stasis-dispelling Decoction and conventional therapy,and 40 cases in control group were treated by only conventional therapy.The treatment course includes 4 weeks.Result: In treatment group 9 cases were recovered,13 cases were excellent,10 cases were effective,and 8 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 80.0%(95%CI=67.6%-92.4%).In control group 4 cases were recovered,9 cases were excellent,10 cases were effective,and 17 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 57.5%(95%CI=42.2%-72.7%).There was significant difference between curative effects of the two groups(u=2.317 6,P=0.0206).Conclusion: The effect of Blood-house Stasis-dispelling Decoction combined with conventional therapy in treatment group is better than in control group OR=0.34(95%CI =0.12-0.92),NNT=4(95%CI=2.3-45.7).
