Abstract

Objective:To explore the role of NE in the pathogenesis of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods:Venous blood was collected from 40 individuals with psoriasis vulgaris and 40 control individuals without psoriasis.NE was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results:Expression level of NE in serum of patients with psoriasis vulgaris was significantly higher than that of normal controls(t=9.07,P0.01),and expression level of NE was positively related to severity of illness(r=0.828,P0.01). Conclusion:Expression level of NE is high in patients with psoriasis vulgaris and it may indicate severity of illness.
