Abstract
Objective To investigate the role of serum P-cadherin in the pathogenesis of psoriasis vulgaris. Methods The serum levels of P-cad in patients with psoriasis vulgaris and controls were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA ).Statistics software of SPSS13.0 and Excel 2003 were applied for data analysis. Results The serum level of P-cad in patients with psoriasis vulgaris was significantly higher than that in control group(P0.01 ),and there was a positive correlation between the serum level of P-cad and the severity of disease. Conclusion P-cadherin may play an important role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.
