Abstract
Objective To explore the role of cold-knife conization in diagnosis and treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, and evaluate the clinical efficacy. Methods The clinical data of 106 patients with cervical lesions who received cervical cytologic examination, colposcopic multiple points biopsy and cervical comization from 2006 to 2010 were analyze retrospectively. The pathological examination results of colposcopic multiple points biopsy and cervical comization were compared, and the therapeutic effects and complications of cervical comization were analyzed. Results The pathological examination results of colposcopic multiple points biopsy and cervical comization were accordant in 69 cases, accounting for 65.1%,discordant in 37 cases, accounting for 34.9%.There were 8 cases(7.5%)of cervical conization in patients with marginal involvement.103 cases were followed up for 6~30 months, and 2 cases relapsed. There were 6 cases of early invasive carcinoma, including 2 cases of only cervical cone biopsy without recurrence in follow up period.6 cases underwent hysterectomy or extended hysterectomy(not in statistical range). The main postoperative complications were bleeding and cervical stenosis. Conclusion Preliminary results show that cervical conization is more precise than colposcopic multiple points biopsy in diagnosis of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, and has better therapeutic effects.
