Abstract
Objective:To detect the expression levels of survivin and p53 and p21 and their clinical significance in the non-small cell lung cancer tissues.Methods:S-P immunohistochemistry was used to analyze the protein expressions of survivin,p53 and p21 from 50 well-characterized non-small cell lung cancer patients and 15 lung negative tissues and para-cancerous tissues. Results:Positive expressions of survivin,p53 and p21 were significantly higher organized in the tissues of non-small cell lung cancer than in the lung negative tissues and para-cancerous tissues.Positive exspressions of survivin,p53 and p21 were associated with the tumor node metastasis staging system of lung cancer and lymph node metastasis, were not associated with the types and gender in the expression of the different lung cancer pathology.Conclusion:Survivin,p53 and p21 were highly associated with the occurrence and development of the non-small cell lung cancer.Survivin,p53 and p21 have relations with the growth, invasion and metastasis of the non-small cell lung cancer. The expressions of these proteins are the predictors for prognostic factors of non-small cell lung cancer.
