Abstract
Objective To determine the chemical constituents from the seeds of Vitex negundo L..Methods Chemical constituents were isolated and purified by polyamide,macroporous resin and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography,and their structures were elucidated by chemical and spectroscopic methods.Results Four compounds were identified as orientin(Ⅰ),isoorientin(Ⅱ),vitexin Ⅲ,and Vitedoamine A(Ⅳ).Conclusion Compound Ⅲ is isolated from this plant for the first time.
