Determination of Astragaloside IV in Shenkangning Pian by HPLC-ELSD

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To establish a HPLC-ELSD method for the determination of Astragaloside in Shenkangning Pian.METHODS The content of astragaloside Ⅳ was determined by HPLC-ELSD. RESULTS A good linearity was observed for astragaloside Ⅳ in the range of 1.036~7.77 μg.The average recovery of astragaloside Ⅳ was 98.6% with RSD=1.3%(n=11).CONCLUSION HPLC-ELSD was simple and accurate with a good repeatability.It can be used for the quality control of Shenkangning Pian.
