The effect of high-frequency electricity knife combined with interferon in treatment of perianal condyloma acuminatum

Objective To investigate the effect of high-frequency electricity knife combined with interferon for perianal condyloma acuminatum. Methods One hundred cases of patients with perianal condyloma acuminatum were divided into two groups, observation group was given high-frequency electricity knife combined with interferon treatment, and control group was treated with interferon, all patients were followed up for 6 months, then warts removal and treatment of recurrence were compared between the two groups. Results In observation group, from the 1 d after treatment the warts were litter than before (P 0.05), control group from 7 d after treatment the warts were litter than before (P 0.05), warts removal ratio of observed group in 1 d, 7 d and 14 d were higher than control group (P 0.05), recurrence rate of observation group was lower than control group after 6 months (P 0.05), the average recurrence time of observation group was longer than control group(P 0.05). Conclusion High-frequency electric knife combined with interferon for perianal condyloma acuminatum is an effective method, it can effectively delay or even block the recurrence of perianal condyloma acuminatum,so it is worth the clinical value.
