CLINICAL ANALYSIS OF 100 PATIENTS WITH CONDYLOMA ACUMINATUM WITH TWO DIFFERENT TREATMENT METHODS

[Objective]To observe the two different methods in treatment of patients with condyloma acuminatum.[Methods]100 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,the control group was only using the CO2 laser treatment,and the treatment group was treated with laser and interferon and compared clinical cure rate and recurrence rate of them.[Results]46 cases were cured in treatment group,and the cure rate was 92.00%. 8 cases were recurred,and the recurrence rate was 16.00%. The statistical analysis showed significantly higher cure rate in treatment group,and significantly lower recurrence rate in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2 = 6.89,χ2 = 7.61,P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]The use of laser in combination with interferon can increase the local treatment of CA,and reduce relapse rate. Technology is simple,suitable for primary health care units to use,so the use of laser treatment with interferon injection for genital warts is worth of clinical application.
