The observation on combine treatment of perianal condyloma acuminatum by means of microwave and interferon

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of microwave combined with interferon for treatment of perianalcondyloma acuminatum.Methods From March2004 toAugust2009, 123 patients sufferd from perianal condyloma acuminatum were treated with microwave.Treated group 74 cases were treated with microwave combined with interferon, control group 49 cases with microwave alone.Results Treated group cured 48 cases(64.86%), control group cured 17 cases (34.69%), Difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P0.05). 26 cases(35.14%) in the treatment group , 32 cases (65.31%) in control group recurred. Difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P0.05).Conclusion The effect of microwave combined with interferon for treatment of perianal condyloma acuminatum is better than microwave alone.
