Cost-effectiveness analysis on the treatments of chronic hepatitis B between domestic and imported adefovir dipivoxil

Objective To study the cost-effectiveness analysis on the patients with chronic hepatitis B treated with domestic or imported adefovir dipivoxil.Methods 98 patients with chronic hepatitis were divided into A group and B groups.A group of 40 patients and B group of 58 patients were treated with imported and domestic adefovir dipivoxil,respectively.The rate of ALT normalization,HBV-DNA conversed,anti-HBe HBeAg conversed were observed.Results After 104 weeks treatment,the total costs of A group and B group were 15913.5 yuan and 10251.5 yuan,respectively.The curative effect of two groups was not obviously different.Conclusion The cost effectiveness of domestic adefovir dipivoxil is superior to that of imported one for chronic hepatitis B patients.
